A LETTER FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Aloha NHCS ʻOhana!
It’s that time of the year again! Our ministry team has been working tirelessly to welcome back our returning and new students and families for the 2026–2027 school year. You will see some new faces in our classrooms—both students and teachers alike. The ministry of New Hope Christian School continues to grow, not only in size but also in depth.
This school year's theme is Invest. Overflow. Transform. Kingdom impact starts at the source. As we pour into our team, Christ’s love cascades through our students, into their families, and out into the world.
We are also excited to introduce our mission-driven mindset, “The NHCS Way,” as we cultivate a culture that actively lives out our school mission.
To better support our students and families, we have introduced several new programs while keeping the foundational practices that make our school thrive:
-
Aligned Signature Programs: Christmas and Easter events for both Preschool and Elementary held on the same day.
-
Personalized Drop-Off: Parents are welcome to walk their preschoolers directly to class each morning.
-
Free Dress Wednesdays: Weekly free dress for Elementary students.
-
“Triple Connection” Program: Led by our ʻOhana Support Teacher, creating meaningful opportunities to connect God with our students and their families.
-
Active Parent-Teacher ʻOhana: A vibrant community partnership supporting our school goals.
-
Streamlined Church Support: Enhanced communication and unified support with our church ministry.
-
“Book Bound” Reading Initiative: Regular visits to our local public library to foster a lifelong love of reading.
-
Quarterly Celebrations: School-wide assemblies to celebrate student achievements and gather as one NHCS ʻOhana.
We look forward to an incredible year of growth, faith, and community!
Blessings,
Erwin Udarbe
